Meet the Hickman Family.. pumpkin style
So for the first time in forever Jonathan and I had the opportunity to be normal.. like do really happy normal things. So we jumped at the chance. First, we actually went to dinner together. Just us, no rush. It was awesome.. food was OK but the company was excellent. THEN we were able to carve the pumpkins I had bought about a week ago. We sat outside on my porch, used the fire pit I got LAST YEAR for Christmas for the FIRST TIME and carved our pumpkins.
We also roasted some marshmallows.. yumm..All in all it was a wonderful evening. I felt more happy and alive than I have in a long time. Here are some of the fruits of our labor..
